** Shares of TRACON Pharmaceuticals Inc  TCON.O  up ~5% at
$1.74 premarket
    ** Co says an independent data monitoring committee has
recommended that a mid-stage trial can proceed as planned, which
is testing its antibody envafolimab for treating a type of

    ** Review was based on 12-week safety data from patients
enrolled into trial as of June 30; included data from 2 dosage
groups - envafolimab as single agent and in combination with
Bristol-Myers Squibb's  BMY.N  Yervoy
    ** Co adds that it is on track for the committee to review
interim efficacy data of the trial in Q4 this year 
    ** As of last close, stock down ~40% YTD
