Canada says Alberta move to shield its power cos from new rules is unacceptable

OTTAWA, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Canadian Environment Minister
Steven Guilbeault on Monday branded as "unacceptable" a move by
the province of Alberta to shield its power firms from proposed
federal regulations to curb greenhouse gases.
"We will continue moving ahead with this. There is no legal
basis for what Alberta is doing," he told reporters in Ottawa.
