** Shares of drug developer Travere Therapeutics TVTX.O rise 22% to $26.39 premarket

** Co says that the U.S. FDA no longer needs an advisory committee meeting for its kidney disease drug's, Filspari, supplemental application for the treatment of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a rare kidney disease

** Co is seeking expanded approval for Filspari, with a target decision date of January 13

** Filspari, approved in 2023 for IgA nephropathy, carries boxed warnings for liver damage and birth defects

** Last month, FDA eased monitoring rules for Filspari

** As of last close, stock up 24% YTD
