The Board of Travis Perkins plc ("the Company") was notified today of the
purchase today by Tony Buffin, Director  of 3,000 ordinary shares of 10p each
in the Company ("shares"), at a price of 18.22p.  As a result of this
purchase Mr Buffin's beneficial interest is 87,248 shares which represents
less than 0.1% of the issued share capital.
