Timber Pharma rises on positive EMA opinion for skin disorder therapy

** Shares of Timber Pharmaceuticals Inc  TMBR.A  up 10.6% at
$0.14
    ** Company gets positive opinion on orphan designation from
European Medicines Agency (EMA) for its skin disorder therapy

    ** Based on EMA opinion, the European Commission is expected
to issue its decision on the orphan designation in about 30 days
    ** The designation is given to drugs against diseases that
affect fewer than 5 in 10,000 people in the EU, and provides
various development benefits for an investigational drug,
including ten-year exclusivity after approval is received
    ** TMBR's TMB-001 is in development as a treatment for
moderate to severe forms of congenital ichthyosis, a genetic
skin disorder
    ** Company's shares down 64% YTD
