** Indian jeweller reported 24.7% y/y fall in Q4 consolidated profit to 94.9 mln rupees as surging bullion prices led to higher demand for gold as an investment, instead of jewellery

** Q4 expenses rose 4.8% to 5.17 bln rupees

** More than 244,000 shares traded as of 9:42 a.m. IST, second-busiest day this week so far

** Day's decline brings YTD losses to 12.3%
