** Trump Media & Technology Group's DJT.O shares edge higher, last up 0.2% at $10.97

** Co says it is in discussions with TAE Technologies and Texas Ventures Acquisition III TVA.O about a potential spin off of co's business including Truth Social into a new company

** Shares of the new company will be distributed to shareholders of record of Trump Media & Technology Group prior to the closing of the merger with TAE

** DJT in December announced it would merge with fusion energy developer TAE Technologies in a deal valuing it at more than $6 bln

** The new firm will merge with blank check company Texas Ventures

** Including session's move DJT down 17.3% YTD
