** Co names media veteran Kevin McGurn as interim CEO

** McGurn, an advisor to the co since Dec 2024, succeeds Devin Nunes as the social media platform faces challenges in scaling its business amid competition from larger social networks and uneven user growth

** McGurn brings a "strong understanding of Trump Media's operations and strategic priorities," Donald Trump Jr. said in a statement

** As of last close, DJT stock down 25.8% YTD
