GLOBAL MARKETS
Asian stocks ticked up
early on Friday
but gains were capped as traders questioned the durability of this week's U.S.-Iran ceasefire and remained wary of fragile hopes for Israel-Lebanon peace talks.
ERDOGAN
President Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian late on Thursday in which they discussed upcoming U.S.-Iran talks.
ENERGY MINISTER IN SOMALIA
Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar will attend a drilling ship welcoming ceremony in Mogadishu, where he will meet Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. Turkish drilling vessel Cagri Bey is set to conduct Turkey's first deep-sea drilling operation abroad.
