U.S. stock indexes slipped on Thursday as worries of a global economic downturn
from aggressive central bank rate hikes and risks of potential contagion from a
turmoil in UK markets turned investors risk averse. .N
At 11:33 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.54% at
29,225.54. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 2.05% at 3,642.77 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was down 2.93% at 10,727.637.
