China's Ubtech Robotics hits 3-1/2-month peak on higher H1 revenue, narrower loss

** Shares of Ubtech Robotics Corp Ltd 9880.HK jump 8.2% to HK$103.5, their highest since May 13

** Stock on course for biggest one-day pct gain since August 4

** The Chinese humanoid robot maker said on Friday its H1 revenue rose 27.5% y/y to 621.5 mln yuan ($86.9 mln) while net loss narrowed to 440 mln yuan from 539.8 mln yuan a year earlier

** Hang Seng Tech Index .HSTECH and benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI both climb 1.8%

** YTD, Hong Kong stock up 80.8%
