U.S. stock indexes fell about 1% on Thursday, dragged down by technology
heavyweights, as investors fretted over a rise in the cases of coronavirus and
its economic impact.  .N 
    At 12:35 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.96% at
29,067.4. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.95% at 3,354.06 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 1.35% at 9,685.034.
