Ulta Beauty raises annual profit forecast
Ulta Beauty raises annual profit forecast June 2 (Reuters) - Cosmetics retailer Ulta Beauty ULTA.O raised its annual profit forecast on Tuesday, banking on lower inventory-related losses and high-priced merchandise to shield margins from increased expenses toward store expansion and marketing.
The company expects full-year earnings per share to be between $28.36 and $28.80, compared with its prior forecast of $28.05 to $28.55.
Its shares were up about 5% in extended trading.
