** Shares of cosmetics seller Ulta Beauty ULTA.O rise 5.9% to $562 in extended trading

** Company raises fiscal 2025 net sales forecast to $12.0 billion to $12.1 billion compared with prior projection of $11.5 billion to $11.7 billion

** Ulta forecasts annual profit per share to range between $23.85 and $24.30, compared with prior projection of $22.65/share to $23.20/share

** "Our outlook for the remainder of the year reflects both the strength of our year-to-date performance and our caution around how consumer demand may evolve in the second half of the year" - CEO Kecia Steelman

** Company reports Q2 net sales of $2.8 billion, vs est. of $2.67 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG

** Up till last close, stock up 22% YTD
