RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.21% versus the U.S. dollar to 91.7475, as the central bank likely sold dollars to limit the rupee's weakness, traders said, amid headwinds ranging from uncertainty over U.S. trade policies and persistent outflows from local stocks. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN064835G=CC was quoted at 98.485 rupees, with the yield up 3 bps at 6.6932%, as chunky state debt supply, due later in the day, eclipsed the impact of the central bank's plan to inject liquidity into the banking system through mid-February. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was down 1.5 basis points at 5.58%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC was up 1.25 bps at 6.15%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 5.10%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 5.20%.
