** Shares in Umicore UMI.BR drop 2.3% after Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL) said it sold at a discount the remaining 8% stake in the Belgian materials technology group
** GBL said it offloaded 19.6 million shares in Umicore for 0.3 billion euros ($353.73 million)
** ING says in a note that Bloomberg reported on Tuesday the shares were sold at 17.22 euros per unit, at a 6.5% discount to the market price
** Both ING and KBC Securities say the sale is no surprise
** "Umicore’s share price recovered also nicely on the back of precious metals appreciation, providing GBL with a nice opportunity to sell an asset that had been underperforming over the last few years," ING adds
** Stock at the bottom of Belgium's BEL 20 .BFX Index
