    Umicore sees 2026 EBITDA near 1 billion euros

    April 30 (Reuters) - Belgian metal recycling group Umicore UMI.BR on Thursday said full-year 2026 adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation were expected to approach 1 billion euros ($1.14 billion), above analysts' forecast of 880.7 million euros in a Vara consensus provided by the company.

It said any direct effect from conflict in the Middle East should not be material in 2026 due to limited regional exposure and energy hedges.
