** Shares of Unichem Laboratories  UNLB.NS  rise as much as
7.3% to 479 rupees, a record high
    ** Pharmaceutical firm gets U.S.FDA's abbreviated new drug
application approval for its Doxazosin tablets, used for
treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure 
    ** More than 130,000 shares traded by 12:20 p.m. IST, 4x the
30-day avg
    ** More than 100,000 shares of co traded in a single session
only once in Dec qtr
    ** Stock rose 28.6% in 2023, marking second straight year of
gains
