** Shares of grocery wholesaler United Natural Foods UNFI.N down as much as 7.7% at $25.71

** In an SEC filing, co discloses unauthorized activity on its information technology systems on June 5

** Says UNFI took certain systems offline in response, which temporarily impacted its ability to fulfill and distribute customer orders

** Adds that the incident continues to cause temporary disruptions to operations

** Co says it implemented workarounds for operations to continue servicing customers, and is working to restore its systems to bring them back online, while an investigation to assess the impact and scope of the incident is in early stages

** Up to last close, stock had fallen 5.7% YTD
