United Utilities - Liam Butterworth

In accordance with UK Listing Rule 6.4.9(2) United Utilities announces that
Liam Butterworth, independent non-executive director and chair of the ESG
Committee, will take up the role of Chief Operating Officer and an executive
director on the board of Rosebank Industries plc (Rosebank) with effect from 4
March 2026.

Liam is the former Chief Executive Officer of Dowlais Group plc (Dowlais),
stepping down from Dowlais with effect from 3 February 2026 and taking up the
role with Rosebank following completion of the combination of Dowlais and
American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc.
