GBP 50,000,000 1.5366% Index Linked Notes due 2043 with ISIN XS0249661199 (the "Notes")
United Utilities Water Limited (the "Issuer") announces the purchase of a nominal amount of GBP 30,000,000 of the Notes. Settlement of the purchase will occur on 5 October 2017. The Issuer will cancel all Notes repurchased and following the purchase a nominal amount of GBP 20,000,000 of the Notes will remain outstanding.
