The Dow on Thursday eased from a record high hit in the previous session as IBM
shares fell after its quarterly report, with the potential impact of supply
chain disruptions and labor shortages on profits taking the center stage this
earnings season.  .N 
    At 13:32 pm, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  fell 113.30 points, or
0.32% , to 35,496.04, the S&P 500  .SPX  gained 0.42 points, or 0.01 %, to
4,536.61 and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  gained 57.57 points, or 0.38 %, to
15,179.25.
