** Shares of hospital operators rise premarket after health insurer UnitedHealth Group UNH.N flags bigger-than-expected jump in medical care demand among older adults

** Shares of Universal Health Services UHS.N up 4.1%, Tenet Healthcare THC.N up 6.6% and HCA Healthcare HCA.N rise 2.6% premarket

** Up to last close, UNH up 15.7%, UHS down 3.2%, THC down ~5% and HCA up 10.3% YTD
