Uponor seen rising after Aliaxis indicates $2 billion offer

** Uponor UPONOR.HE seen rising 40%-44% after Aliaxis
announced a non-binding intention to make cash offer worth 1.82
billion Euro ($2.00 billion) for the Finnish plumbing and
heating systems maker
** The indicative offer price of 25 euros per Uponor share
represents a 44.6% premium compared to Uponor's closing price on
Friday
** Belgian water management solutions group Aliaxis says it
initially approached Uponor in relation to a potential offer in
May 2022, and that it already holds an about 5.0% stake in the
company
($1 = 0.9102 euros)
