The Dow and Nasdaq indexes fell on Wednesday as Amgen and Microsoft weighed,
while investors focused on a Federal Reserve meeting for updates on monetary
policy and waited for another batch of earnings from big technology firms. .N 
    At 12:18 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.37% at
33,860.74. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.03% at 4,188.11 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.18% at 14,065.043.
