India's V2 Retail hits over 16-yr high on Q1 rev jump

** Shares of V2 Retail  VREL.NS  rise as much as 5% to 812
rupees, highest level since April 29, 2008
    ** Apparel and accessories retailer said on Tuesday its Q1
rev from ops jumped 57% Y/Y to 4.14 bln rupees ($49.6 mln)
    ** Adds, same store sales grew around 37% Y/Y
    ** Stock gained 44% in June, marking its fifteenth straight
monthly gain
