** Shares of V-Mart Retail  VMAR.NS  fall as much as 2.08%
to 2,751 rupees, lowest since Dec. 6, 2022
    ** The retail store chain says a fire broke out at one of
its stores in Kanpur on Monday
    ** While the fire led to no loss of life or injury,
inventory, fixed assets and cash in the store were damaged,
disrupting operations
    ** Co says it has adequate insurance coverage and is in the
process of ascertaining the actual loss due to the blaze
    ** Trading volume at 6,662 shares as of 10:00 a.m. IST, 0.2x
the 30-day avg of 31,085 shares
