India's VA Tech Wabag hits highest in over 9 months on fund raising

** Shares of VA Tech Wabag Ltd  VATE.NS  rise as much as
5.8% to 329 rupees, their highest since Feb. 17
    ** VATE is the biggest pct gain since Nov. 15
    ** The water treatment field constructor and operator on
Friday said that it has entered an agreement with Asian
Development bank to raise funds upto 2 billion rupees ($24.46
million) by issue of non-convertible debentures
    ** About 417,000 shares change hands by 0415 GMT vs 1.5x the
30-day avg of 2,81,998
    ** Stock up 0.5% so far this year, as of last close 
($1 = 81.7680 Indian rupees)
