Valeo CEO sees cloud of uncertainty over auto sector if no US, EU trade deal reached

PARIS, July 25 (Reuters) - Valeo VLOF.PA chief executive Christophe Perillat said on Friday that a cloud of uncertainty would remain over the sector if an agreement on trade tariffs was not reached by the United States and the European Union.

The EU has said its goal is to reach a negotiated solution to the dispute, though officials have also said they are readying possible countermeasures if talks collapse.
