Proposed Appointment of Non-Executive Director

 

London, UK - ValiRx Plc (AIM: VAL), a life science company focusing on
early-stage cancer therapeutics and women's health is pleased to announce
that, subject to normal regulatory due diligence, it intends to appoint Luke
Cairns as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Luke is an experienced corporate finance professional with over 20 years of
working with SMEs as both an adviser and director. He was previously Head of
Corporate Finance and Joint Managing Director at Northland Capital Partners
Limited, an AIM Nominated Adviser and broker firm, and has worked with many
companies across several sectors and regions on a wide range of transactions,
including IPOs, secondary fundraisings, corporate restructurings and
takeovers.

 

Subsequently, Luke set up his own consultancy working with growth companies
and family offices and now sits on number of private and public boards.

 

Dr Kevin Cox, Chair of ValiRx PLC, commented "Luke will be an excellent
addition to the Board of ValiRx given his extensive experience in small
companies, corporate finance and corporate governance. He will provide help
and advice across all areas of the business but particularly in respect of
ValiRx as a quoted company. His independent and objective views will help
ensure continued progress of our strategic plans."
