U.S. stock indexes edged higher on Wednesday, following big gains in the prior
session, as cooling producer prices supported views that the Federal Reserve has
finished raising interest rates, while Target shares surged following an upbeat
holiday-quarter forecast.  .N 
    
    At 10:43 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.36% at
34,954.52. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.46% at 4,516.36 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.53% at 14,168.684.
