Tariffs left 'skid marks' on quarterly results, Thyssenkrupp CFO says

FRANKFURT, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Thyssenkrupp TKAG.DE is experiencing restraint from customers, particularly in the automotive sector, in light of global trade disputes, the German conglomerate's finance chief told journalists on Thursday after presenting fiscal third-quarter results.

"Trade disputes had a significant impact on our quarter and also left some skid marks in macroeconomic terms. Many companies, especially customers, are waiting to see what happens or are taking a cautious approach," Axel Hamann said.
