Equinor makes Arctic Norway oil discovery
OSLO, March 18 (Reuters) - Equinor EQNR.OL and its
partners Vaar Energi VAR.OL and Petoro have made an oil
discovery in the Norwegian part of the Arctic Barents Sea, some
16 km (10 miles) from the Johan Castberg field, Norway's
Offshore Directorate said on Wednesday.
The discovery was estimated to contain between 14 million
and 24 million barrels of oil, the agency said.
