 Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine - Completion of Merger 
 
 Vast Resources plc, the AIM listed mining company, is pleased to announce
that the merger agreement between Vast's 80% owned Romanian subsidiary African
Consolidated Resources srl ('Vast Romania') and its subsidiary Mineral Mining
SA (the 'Merger Agreement') has been confirmed by the Appeal Court of Cluj. 
The decision of the Appeal Court is stated to be final and enforceable. 
 
 As explained in the announcements of 25 February and 24 March 2015 the
Company has been advised that the Merger is the best way in which to expedite
the return to Vast Romania of the right to mine (the 'Mining Sub-licence') at
Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine.  
 
 The Company understands that the rights of Vast Romania to the Mining
Sub-licence following the completion of the Merger stand independent of the
agreement that Vast Romania reached with Baita SA that was announced on 23
November 2015. 
 
 A legal opinion has been requested on the result of the completion of the
Merger and on the precise action now to be taken.  A further announcement
will be made shortly.
