Vast Resources plc, the AIM-listed mining company with operations in Romania and Zimbabwe, announces that it does not intend to draw down on the $3 million balance of the $5 million facility that is currently in place with Bracknor Fund Limited and is now investigating alternative sources of finance. The authorities for the directors to issue further shares proposed in the resolutions at the forthcoming annual general meeting of the Company ("Resolutions") will be applied for this purpose and not for the balance of the Bracknor facility. Should the Resolutions not be approved, the Company will need to consider alternative funding, including, inter alia, at the subsidiary company levels.
