Live Markets: European futures steady after Nvidia results

EUROPEAN FUTURES STEADY AFTER NVIDIA RESULTS
European equity futures are holding steady on Thursday following after-market earnings from
Nvidia NVDA.O that struggled to exceed lofty expectations set by investors.
Shares in the AI-giant fell after hours, weighing on shares of other U.S. chipmakers. Eyes
will be on EU semis at the open including ASML ASML.AS , ASM International ASMI.AS , BE Semi
BESI.AS , Infineon IFXGn.DE , STMicro STMPA.PA and VAT Group VACN.S .
For now, Euro STOXX 50 futures STXEc1 are down around 0.1%. Futures on Germany's DAX
FDXc1 and France's CAC FCEc1 are lower by less than 0.1%, while FTSE futures FFIc1 are
rising 0.1%.
Wall Street futures are a touch softer, with S&P eminis EScv1 down 0.2% and those on the
tech-heavy Nasdaq NQcv1 lower by 0.5%.
In other corporate news, Pernod Ricard PERP.PA announced a 1% fall in full-year organic
sales, largely in line with forecasts and its own guidance.
Eyes are now turning to flash consumer inflation figures from Spain and Germany on Thursday,
before euro area-wide data on Friday.
