** Shares of Verastem Oncology VSTM.O rise 35.3% to $16.48
premarket
** Co says its combination therapy showed positive results
in patients with a type of pancreatic cancer during an early to
mid-stage trial
** Says therapy showed a confirmed partial response - at
least 30% decrease in cancer - in 5 out of 6 patients with more
than six months of follow up
** Up to last close, stock up ~49.6% YTD
