Verbio sees higher annual core profit as biofuel demand drives up prices Sept 24 (Reuters) - Biofuels producer Verbio VBKG.DE on Thursday forecast higher core earnings for the financial year that started in July, as rising biofuel demand is set to continue lifting sales prices.
The German company expects earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of between €210 million and €250 million ($239 million and $284 million) for fiscal 2026/27, compared with €194 million in the past year.
"After more than a decade of political reticence, biomass is experiencing a renaissance," Verbio said in a statement.
