VIENNA, May 31 (Reuters) - Austria is not planning any
further action to address windfall profits at the majority
state-owned utility Verbund VERB.VI given the latest steps
taken by the company, Finance Minister Magnus Brunner said on
Tuesday.
"In my view there is no longer any need to intervene in the
market because Verbund has taken these steps," Brunner told a
news conference, referring to Verbund's plans for a special
dividend and for existing customers to receive two months'
electricity for free. urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL2N2WY1TF urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nASM000D8V
