Australia's Veris jumps on plan to renew share buyback

** Shares of Veris  VRS.AX  rise as much as 8.7% to A$0.050,
posting their biggest intraday percentage gain since May 6
    ** Spatial data services provider says it intends to renew
on-market share buyback for up to 10% of its total shares
    ** About 495,000 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of around 158,000
    ** Including Thursday's moves, stock down 25.4% this year
