Australia's Veris jumps on winning digital and spatial service contracts

** Shares of Australia's Veris  VRS.AX  rise as much as 7.8%
to A$0.069, set to climb the most since Oct. 17 if gains hold
    ** Spatial data provider says it secured new contracts
across its digital & spatial and engineering survey segments
    ** Says contracts have contributed more than A$9 mln ($5.77
mln) in new project works in Q1 FY24 and in the current quarter
    ** About 98,000 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 67,573
    ** Stock down 19% YTD, as of last close
