Verizon Communications Inc. (the "Company") makes the following announcement:
The Company received notification on November 4, 2014 that the trustee of the Verizon 401(k) savings plan, at the direction of Anthony T. Skiadas, Senior Vice President and Controller of the Company, a person discharging managerial responsibility, disposed of 3,969 shares of common stock of the Company (the"Shares") held in Mr. Skiadas' plan account and invested the proceeds in other funds under the plan on November 3, 2014. The Shares were sold in the United States at an average price of USD 50.39. This transaction was effected pursuant to Mr. Skiadas' trading plan under Rule 10b5-1(c) of the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
