Verrica Pharma up on resubmission of marketing application for lead product

** Shares of Verrica Pharmaceuticals Inc  VRCA.O  rise 4.6%
to $4.82 premarket
    ** Co says it has resubmitted marketing application for its
experimental drug-device combo to U.S. FDA for treating a type
of viral skin infection known as molluscum contagiosum  
    ** FDA declined to approve the treatment last year, citing
deficiencies at its contract manufacturer, which produced
Verrica's bulk solution drug product
    ** Co says it believes its technology transfer of bulk
solution manufacturing to a different manufacturer has addressed
the deficiency that led to denial of approval to the treatment
last time
    ** VRCA shares down 40.5% in the past 12 months
