Departure of Ken Lever as Non-Executive Director

Vertu Motors plc, the UK automotive retailer with a network of 189 sales and
aftersales outlets across the UK, announces that, as mentioned in the May
announcement, Ken Lever, the Senior Independent Director and Chair of the
Audit Committee, stepped down from the Board of the Company at the Annual
General Meeting held yesterday.  Ken joined the Company in 2015 and has
served 9 years on the board.

Robert Forrester, Chief Executive Officer of Vertu Motors, said:

"Ken has been an incredible non-executive director for the Group contributing
at all times as we undertook rapid growth over the last 9 years and navigated
Brexit and the Pandemic. His insight and wisdom was always on display and

 predominantly under the Bristol Street Motors, Vertu and Macklin Motors brand
 names.

 the UK motor retail sector.  It is intended that the Group will continue to
 acquire motor retail operations to grow a scaled dealership group.  The
 Group's acquisition strategy is supplemented by a focused organic growth
 strategy to drive operational efficiencies through its national dealership
 network. The Group currently operates 185 franchised sales outlets and 4
 non-franchised sales operations from 143 locations across the UK.
