** British motor retail company expects 5.5 mln-pound ($7.4 mln) one-off hit to FY26 adjusted pretax profit from JLR cyberattack

** Records 2 mln-pound impact from cyberattack in September

** H1 adjusted profit before tax falls 9.5% y/y to 20 million pounds

** Co says insurance policy covers third-party system outages; adds it is working with brokers, insurers to assess claims

** VTU gains 1.3% this year, as of last close
