April 29 (Reuters) - VICI Properties VICI.N lifted its 2026 adjusted funds from operations forecast on Wednesday, banking on investments in experiential real estate to drive growth.
The company expects its full-year adjusted FFO per share to range between $2.44 and $2.47, up from its earlier projection of $2.42 to $2.45.
VICI's portfolio, which includes casinos such as Caesars Palace CZR.O and MGM Grand MGM.N in Las Vegas, positions it to benefit from growing consumer preference for experiences over goods.
Beyond casinos, the REIT has diversified into other leisure and entertainment assets, including bowling alleys, wellness resorts, indoor water parks and golf courses.
The hospitality and entertainment REIT reported adjusted FFO of 61 cents per share for the quarter ended March 31, missing analysts' average estimate of 66 cents per share.
Total revenue for the quarter stood at about $1.02 billion, a 3.5% increase from the same period last year.
Analysts, on average, expected quarterly revenue of $1.02 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
