Purchase of Own Shares
The Company announces that it has purchased 60,000 of its ordinary shares of 5
pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a weighted average price of 410 pence per
share (the "Share Purchase") pursuant to the authorities obtained at the
Company's last annual general meeting to make market purchases up to a maximum
aggregate of 17,444,847 Ordinary Shares.

The repurchased shares will be held in treasury. Following the purchase of
these shares, Victoria holds 10,386,185 of its Ordinary Shares in treasury and
has 115,078,482 Ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). This
figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by
which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or
a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance
and Transparency
