Appointment of Non-Executive Director and Chairman Designate

 

Videndum plc ("the Company" or the "Group") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Stephen Harris to the Board of the Company as an independent
Non-Executive Director and Chairman Designate, with effect from 09 November
2023. Stephen will take over as Chairman from Ian McHoul (who previously
announced that he will stand down at Videndum's 2024 AGM) as soon as is
practicable and appropriate, and not later than the 2024 AGM.

Stephen Harris is currently Chief Executive Officer of FTSE 250 Bodycote plc
(the world's largest provider of thermal processing services). After 14 years
in the role, it was announced earlier this year that he will retire in H1
2024. Stephen has overseen strong growth, international expansion and
operational improvements at Bodycote.

Stephen spent his early career in engineering at Courtaulds plc and then moved
to the USA to join APV Inc from 1984 to 1995, where he held several senior
management positions. He was appointed to the Board of Powell Duffryn plc as
an Executive Director in 1995 and then joined Spectris plc as an Executive
Director from 2003 to 2008. Stephen was also a Non-Executive Director of
Brixton plc from 2006 to 2009 and of Mondi plc from 2011 to 2021.  He holds
an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from the University
of Chicago Booth School of Business.
