India's Vikas Ecotech eyes best day in 3 yrs on sept-qtr profit surge

** Shares of specialty chemical maker Vikas Ecotech Ltd.
 VIEC.NS  rise as much as 14.7% to 3.90 rupees, their biggest
intraday pct gain since April 10, 2019
    ** VIEC, which also distributes chemicals, on Wednesday said
Sept-qtr profit more than quadrupled to 35.4 million rupees
($425,787.83), helped by a revenue boost from the chemical
making division
    ** VIEC reported an 81.6% surge in revenue from operations
to 1.34 bln rupees vs yr ago
    ** More than 15.3 mln shares change hands by 0721 GMT vs
30-day avg of 4.8 mln shares 
    ** Stock up 17.2% YTD so far this year, up to last close
($1 = 83.1950 Indian rupees)
