Wall Street's main indexes fell on Friday after Israel struck a series of nuclear facilities and missile factories in Iran, escalating tensions in the oil-rich Middle East and undermining global investor confidence. .N

At  13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.38% at 42,373.95. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.68% at 6,004.04, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.67% at 19,529.91.
